The Story of the Project

Początkowo projekt przyjął interdyscyplinarną formę i był otwarty na dodatkowe działania towarzyszące oraz promocyjne Zabłocia. Przykładem jest wydarzenie w ramach cyklu Lato w MOCAK-u, obejmujące street-artowy spacer po Zabłociu oraz prezentację projektu Stacja Zabłocie w Muzeum Sztuki Współczesnej w 2012 roku.

Initially, the project took on an interdisciplinary form and was open to additional accompanying and promotional activities in Zabłocie. An example of this is the event held as part of the Summer at MOCAK series, which included a street art walk around Zabłocie and a presentation of Stacja Zabłocie project at the Museum of Contemporary Art in 2012.

Pierwszym etapem projektu był wernisaż wystawy Stacja Zabłocie w korytarzu dawnego budynku Telpod S.A., 14 września 2013. Po wernisażu zdjęcia zostały przeniesione do Galerii Lipowa 3. Projekt wystawy był współfinansowany ze środków Gminy Miejskiej Kraków.

The first stage of the project was the opening of the Stacja Zabłocie opening exhibition in the corridor of the former Telpod S.A. building on 14 September 2013. After the opening, the photographs were moved to the Lipowa 3 Gallery. The exhibition project was co-financed by the municipality of Krakow.

Hub Stacja Zabłocie jest kolejnym etapem całego projektu Stacja Zabłocie - syntetycznym leksykonem Zabłocia, zawiera tematy i hasła zarówno historyczne, jak również współczesne oraz przybliża w sposób dostępny treści i wiedzę o tym miejscu. Powstaje we współpracy z Fundacją InArt i przy wsparciu finansowym Województwa Małopolskiego.

Równolegle trwają także prace nad dwujęzycznym albumem fotograficznym, obejmującym historię od początków wsi Zabłocie po transformacje dziejowe i gospodarcze.

Hub Stacja Zabłocie is the next stage of the entire Stacja Zabłocie project – a synthetic lexicon of Zabłocie, containing both historical and contemporary topics, entries, and presenting content and knowledge about this place in an accessible way. It is being developed in cooperation with the InArt Foundation and with the financial support of the Małopolska Province.

At the same time, the work is also underway on a bilingual photo album covering the history of Zabłocie from its beginnings to its historical and economic transformations.
