Stacja Zabłocie jest artystyczno-społecznym projektem, realizowanym przez fotografkę Agnieszkę Wojtuń od 2007 roku. Nazwa projektu wskazuje na tymczasowość a zatem ulotność oraz przypomnienie, że wszystko jest przejściowe. Dodatkowo, podkreśla ona konkretny aspekt przestrzenny, jakim były: bocznice ładowni kolejowej Kraków-Wisła czy do dzisiaj funkcjonująca stacja Kraków-Zabłocie i linia towarowa – wszystkie- niczym linie papilarne tej niepozornej części miasta.

Stacja Zabłocie (Zabłocie Station) is an artistic and social project that has been realized by photographer Agnieszka Wojtuń since 2007. The name of the project refers to temporariness and transience, reminding us that everything is temporary. In addition, it emphasizes a specific spatial aspect, namely the Kraków-Wisła railway sidings, Kraków-Zabłocie station, which is still in operation today, and the freight line—all of which are like the fingerprintsof this inconspicuous part of the city.

Istotą projektu jest uchwycenie i zatrzymanie w fotografiach transformacji tej części dzielnicy Podgórza w latach 2009-2019 pod względem społecznym, architektonicznym, kulturalnym oraz historycznym. Przyjęta dekada jest punktem odniesienia dla umiejscowienia w czasie najbardziej dynamicznego i organicznego rozwoju Zabłocia, tworzonego przez twórców, artystów, rzemieślników, pracujących w postindustrialnych i historycznych miejscach Krakowa.

The essence of the project is to capture and preserve in photographs the social, architectural, cultural, and historical transformation this part of the Podgórze district between 2009 and 2019. The decade chosen is a point of reference for situating the most dynamic and organic development of Zabłocie, created by artists, craftsmen, and creators working in post-industrial and historical places in Kraków.

Stacja Zabłocie, jako kilkuetapowe przedsięwzięcie, ma na celu zebranie całej historii miejsca w jednym spójnym projekcie, poprzez usystematyzowanie dotychczasowej wiedzy i wydarzeń, przedstawienie sylwetek ludzi, tworzących to miejsce oraz aktywizację zarówno mieszkańców Krakowa, jak również osoby odwiedzające miasto. Zabłocie jest przykładem rewitalizacji poprzemysłowych terenów, ale także postępującej gentryfikacji tej części miasta, stąd próba ocalenia od zapomnienia fenomenu, jakim było Zabłocie w podanej dekadzie.

Stacja Zabłocie, as a multi-stage project, aims to collect the entire history of the place in one coherent project by systematizing existing knowledge and events, presenting profiles of the people who created this place, and activating both the residents of Krakow and visitors to the city. Zabłocie is an example of the revitalization of post-industrial areas, but also of the progressive gentrification of this part of the city, hence the attempt to save from oblivion the phenomenon that was Zabłocie in the given decade.
